Dan Gabel is a financial and operating executive with leadership experience spanning Fortune 100 companies, private equity-backed businesses, and small-cap growth companies.

Dan is currently Chief Financial Officer of OSS, a NASDAQ-listed technology company that designs and manufactures Enterprise Class computer and data storage products, enabling rugged AI, sensor fusion, and autonomous capabilities on both military and commercial platforms.

Since joining OSS in November 2024, Dan has helped lead a transformation of the company – divesting of a non-core subsidiary in Germany, raising growth capital via an equity offering, achieving positive EBITDA, and driving 30%+ organic revenue growth.

Prior to joining OSS, Dan served as CFO of CAES’ Defense Systems division, a private-equity backed defense electronics business. He supported the sale of the business to Honeywell in September 2024. Prior to this he spent over 10 years at RTX corporation (Raytheon) in various financial leadership roles, including supporting the acquisition of SEAKR Engineering, a satellite electronics company.

Dan has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.  During his free time, Dan enjoys exploring Southern California’s hiking trails and beaches.
