David Samuels

David Samuels is an award-winning financial and operating executive with leadership roles in both Fortune 500 companies and private equity-backed businesses. He has led more than $1B in structured debt and equity financings — including initial capitalizations, public offerings, recapitalizations, and strategic exits — delivering strong shareholder returns for top-tier institutional investors including Goldman Sachs, Sixth Street Partners, Trilantic North America and others.

A six-time CFO, David serves as a dynamic change agent, driving transformation through M&A, business restructurings, complex financings, and operational turnarounds. His efforts have consistently yielded significant improvements to profitability and performance.

Currently CFO at industry leading medication management pioneer, DrFirst, his career has included C-suite roles with many cutting-edge technology companies; and, a long-term tenure as a senior finance leader within Marriott Corporation and its businesses. He began his career journey with KPMG.

Beyond the C-suite, he brings valuable insight as a corporate and nonprofit board member, frequent conference speaker, guest lecturer, and former Forbes Finance Council contributor.
