Doug Kooren
Doug Kooren is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA), a 114-year-old farmer-owned cooperative with one of the fastest growing consumer food brands in the country. In his role, Doug oversees all aspects of finance and accounting while partnering across the cooperative to drive positive financial and business results.
Doug brings 30 years of finance and accounting experience in a variety of venues from public accounting to large multi-national public Consumer Packaged Goods companies, to medium-sized private, agricultural based food businesses. He has finance and business leadership experience in branded retail, foodservice, private label and commodity segments in both public and private food companies. Most recently he served as VP of Commercial Finance and Corporate FP&A for Trident Seafoods. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Foster Farms and Bellisio Foods and has also held finance leadership roles at multiple businesses, including Lamb Weston, ConAgra Foods and General Mills.
Doug grew up on a family farm in North Dakota and served four years in the US Army, with tours stateside and in Europe. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Dickinson State University, and an MBA with a focus on finance and marketing from University of Minnesota, Carlson School, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Doug currently lives in Wilsonville, Oregon with his wife and two daughters. When he’s not working, Doug enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, running, skiing, camping and fishing.
